●The salt is an electrolyte responsible for fluid balance in the body. Any alterations or changes in this will affect the filtration process of the renal system. Normally the kidneys tends to remove the sodium (salt) content from the blood .When this level is increased in the blood ,it exerts more pressure on the renal system than the normal osmotic pressure simultaneously increasing the pressure in circulatory system leading to elevated blood pressure.In simple there is accumulation of fluids and decreased excretion leading to elevated blood pressure

The following individuals are at greater risk for adverse effects from excessive salt intake

  • A patient with high blood pressure or in its medications
  • Pregnant women can affect the unborn fetus
  • Older peoples
  • Salt cravers
  • Excessive junk foods ,packed and preserved food consumption.

●Some of the external cues which can lead to overeating and weight gain are

  • Advertisements make people to be introduced to most of unhealthy high calorie foods
  • Stimulants like the color ,odour and taste of foods making them to crave for the foods repeatedly (falling prey to marketing products)
  • Peer pressure to a very limited extent by eating daily junk foods

●Anabolic steroid is a product obtained from the mixture of natural and artificial (synthetic) androgen to give put the effects of testosterone

The sude effects of it are

  • CNS:suicidal behavior, anger, irritability, stroke
  • CVS:Cardiomyopathy, hypertension, hyperlipidemia,heart attack ,atherosclerosis ,delusion
  • Reproductive system
    • Male: gynecomastia, shrunken testes ,ca testis
    • Female: alopecia, hirsutism
  • Liver:cyst,tumor
  • Musculoskeletal:early stoping of bone growth
  • General :allopecia

●Food which can protect one from cancer are

  • Foods containing good antioxidants, vegetables and fruits
  • Nuts and cinnamon ,spices have a good effect to protect
  • Whole grains

Foods which can promote cancer are

  • Foods containing artificial color,ingredients, flavour ,preservatives
  • Processed meat
  • Artificial sweeteners
  • High cooked ,charred food items
