●The salt is an electrolyte responsible for fluid balance in the body. Any alterations or changes in this will affect the filtration process of the renal system. Normally the kidneys tends to remove the sodium (salt) content from the blood .When this level is increased in the blood ,it exerts more pressure on the renal system than the normal osmotic pressure simultaneously increasing the pressure in circulatory system leading to elevated blood pressure.In simple there is accumulation of fluids and decreased excretion leading to elevated blood pressure
