Ans) There are two types of costs÷ explicit cost and implicit cost.

Explicit cost are the direct payments made. Eg- payment for raw materials, payment done for machinery etc.

Implicit costs are basically the opportunity cost. For eg- the salary which one leaves to start ones own business is an opportunity cost or implicit cost.
