1.EIA (Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) test is used to find out the presence of certain antibodies in the body in regards to a specific disease condition. A positive EIA is not a definitive or confirmatory test for HIV.There are possibility for false positive result also .So the patient will be requested for a repeat sample.
