1, Federal controlled substances Act in 1970 it enacted the federal comprehensive drug abuse prevention and control. federal law has 3 different titles. title 1 -rehabilitation program for drug abusers, title 2 -registration and distribution of controlled substances. title 3 - importation and exportation of controlled substances. this main goal is to control the substance use and improving manufacturing, distribution and dispensing and exportation of a controlled substance. Federal drug regulations enforce this act under the federal level.
2, Occupational Safety and Health Act in 1970 ensure safe and healthy working conditions for people by ensuring standards by providing education, training, outreach, and assistance. It covers most private-sector American employees in 50 states, jurisdiction, territories under federal authority, it focuses on six principles or areas to protect the workers
- It prevents workplace injury and illness, save lives, especially vulnerable workers who can face special hazards.
-Hazards control strategies for privacy and prevention remove the cause of problems and sources of exposures.
