2-13. As the mid-term score was unknown the predicted final score would be the average final score i.e. = 60 (D)

2-14 Xpredicted = a + b y, where b= r(Sx / Sy) = 0.8 * (10/20) = 0.4 and a = avg (x) - b*avg (y) = 60 - 0.4 * 60 = 36
