Explanation - Although climate change affects the whole of our planet, there are differences in the way combating it is perceived when it comes to developed nations and developing nations. Developed nations have a desired standard of living available to their citizens and also have the resources and the technology to invest in combating climate change. Whereas, developing nations have other issue at their helm as well. These are poverty, low standard of living, low economic development etc. Hence, in the priority order combating climate change takes a backseat when compared to economic growth. They also lack resources and technology for feasibly respond to the various phenomenon rising due to climate change.
