if reduction potentials are given for two electrodes, reduction takes place at higher reduction potential contains electrode, oxidation takes place at lower reduction potential contain electrode.

for example A contains reduction potential = 0.1V, B contains 0.2V.

then reduction takes place at B. oxidation takes place at A.
