Answer: Patients are ready to do whatever needed for the treatment as they do not focus on the cause such as prevention is better than cure. For example, they are not much concerned about the obesity which gives rise to many other diseases, but ready for spending money on the treatment. This lead to increase in the cost of care.

The consumer expections from the heathcare organization to provide better facilities at minimal charges or cost. But this is not possible as use of advanced technologies for the diagnosis, treatment etc cost much higher than the expectations. So to compensate the expenses there is hike in the medical cost.
