1.Focus group can be defined as a group of people who have very sound knowledge or insight about the product. As the name suggest the meaning they are very focussed about the product knowledge. Researchers get all these information from them through one on one interview , surveyes polling etc

Disadvantage:- it is not necessary that they give accurate feedback all the time. Their feedback is not as accurate as statistical datas. They are not fully reliable.
