Answer #1

Contextual information plays a crucial role in reasoning. This is so because people can to the real life scenarios happening around. For example if students in a class are asked to evaluate the impact of pollution on the nearby fields in their school, they would make analysis on the local terrain and since they live there, they will be more aware of the issues or causes for it and be able to reason well. They will also be the ones who will be active to participate initiatives pertaining to the surroundings as it would bother them.

People tend to reason successfully when the propositions and rules are meaningful to them because they are able to relate to them and understand them well. They can analyze clearly what impact it will have on them and the others around and based on those discussions they reason things.
