Hydrocarbons -  a class of organic chemical compounds composed only of the elements carbon(C) and hydrogen (H). 2 types - aliphatic and aromatic.

Aliphatic - 3 types - alkanes - contains single bond , alkenes - contains carbon - carbon double bond , alkynes- contain carbon-carbon triple bond.

Aromatic - classified as arenes which contain a benzene ring.

So the answer is CH3CH2CH2CH3
