What is the function of a computer network? Describe two advantages that result from connecting two or more computers together.

Computer network is basically a network in which a set of computers are connected and these computers are called as nodes.Computers can be connected through a cable network or wireless network.Function of a computer network is to share hardware resources,shared data and software.For example there is one server and one client and we want to transfer some data from server to client,so this can be done easily when they will be in same network.

Advantages of connecting two or more computers together are

1.Suppose we have a company and everyone wants to access some data and hardware resources like printer,so if they are connected together in a network they all can easily access all the information and printer.

2.File sharing is very easy when they are connected in a network.

3.Now in present scenario data is increasing continuously we don't need to take every data into our system to access those files,if they are present in a network we can easily access data and in this way we can also save storage.
