Haemophilus influenzae is a Gram-negative, coccobacillary, facultatively anaerobic pathogenic bacterium causes diseases such pneumonia, bacteremia, meningitis, epiglottitis, septic arthritis, cellulitis, otitis media, and purulent pericarditis.  Influenza virus causes flu which shows symptoms of high fever, runny nose, sore throat, muscle pains, headache, coughing, sneezing, and feeling tired. Bacterial diseases can be treated with antibiotics but viral diseases cannot be treated with antibiotics, but antibiotics can be administered to prevent secondary infections.
