The young people of counterculture of the 1960s/1970s challenged the hypocrisy of their parent's generation, especially the norms of pursuit of material things, war, as well as their norms of conformity and obedience to authority. Do you think we need another sexual revolution? Why or why not? If So, what norms do you hope it would challenge?

Society has come a long way in terms of breaking the existing norms and improved the lives of various people but nothing came without any struggle. People had to fight for the abolition of slavery, equal treatment, women’s rights, disability rights etc. Although law provide enough rights, people in the society are not ready to accept them. Thus, people have to take things to the streets to make things even. Sexual orientation is one of the heated topics that still attracts enough attention. Society would be very reluctant to accept the changes easily but would only accept if there is some disturbance in the society. Thus, there would be a revolution for different sexual orientations which would disturb the heterosexual oriented people and norm.
