Ans :

When the concentrations of B and C are kept constant and that of A is doubled , the rate of reaction becomes four times , so the order of reaction is 2 with respect to A.

Now when the concentrations of A is made 1.5 times and that of B is doubled with C concentration constant , then the rate of reaction has become 4.5 times , so the rate of reaction is 1 with respect to B.

Now when the concentration of C is halved , and that of A is doubled and that of B is tripled , the rate of reaction becomes 12 times. So the order of reaction with respect to C will be 0.

overall order = 2 + 1 + 0 = 3

So here :

The reaction is second order in A , first order in B , and zero order in C , and third order overall.
