Conversion funnel is a wonderful tool using which we can check and track our visitor's activity on our site, do appropriate changes on our website or products if required and increase the visitors and sales accordingly.

In the conversion funnel, we can see, there are various stages- say

-> Just visiting the first page and return- worst case for sales

-> Hovering around some of the pages and viewing the product information and deciding whether for checkout.

-> Selecting the product, go to check out but don't purchase.

-> and the final stage is making a purchase.

If we know our visitor percentage on each stage, we can definitely improve our customer's visit and sales.

For example- Many customers are selecting products, going for checkout option but are not making purchase.

Reasons could be insecure payment, no offer/ no cash back/ no discount on purchase/ getting better discount on some other sites.

Solution- we can secure our payment methods, introduce more payment options through wallets and offer more discounts.

Benefits of this approach-

Doing sales, e-commerce or selling any other products, for the success we must understand our customers and this tool/ method is the best way to understand the way/ methods/ choices of our customers. If the customer increases then profit also increases.
