Answer #1

The intent to find a job right after the college goes well with the very mentality of the student and the way he has been brought up. Usually, parents use the job after college and a good life as the source to motivate the child for studying. Also, the age at the person, completes his/her college is a age where, a person thinks himself as an independent person and finds the need to support himself and his family.

The three things one can do to find the job after college are :

1)Find the right skill, where he thinks he can build his career and then learn all the technical aspects related to field. Grabbing a internship or two in that field will also help in getting the industrial exposure.

2)Focus and develop the non-technical skills like effective communication, client presentation, basic operations etc. This will give the person an edge over others in this highly competitive market.

3) Build your contacts - Along with the skills it is the contacts which can help you to actually find a job. One must be active in finding contacts and using them when required. LinkedIn is an example.
