a. Here population standard deviation is 7

So we will use z distribution to find CI

z value for 99% CI is 2.576 as P(-2.576<z<2.576)=0.99

So Margin of Error is \large E=z*\frac{\sigma }{\sqrt{n}}=2.576*\frac{7}{8}=2.254

b. As data value is not give, so i will just keep \large \overline{x} for mean value, you can find value of mean for given sample and complete the problem

So CI i \large \overline{x} \pm 2.254
