Answer #1

Answer

(a) As in the first image, sRNA binds with RNA and resolves the stem loop structure of RNA and also helps in recruitment of RNase (enzymes that degrades RNA). So, this decreases the gene expression.

(b) In this second image, sRNA goes and binds to RBS site (Ribosome Binding Site) i.e required by Ribosomes for binding and for initiating translation machinery. So, this decreases the expression of genes.

d O RNA 凸 RES

(c) As in the third image, when RNA is presented in single stranded form RNase comes and degrades the RNA but after the sRNA binding, RNA gets protected from cleaving action of RNase enzyme. So, this increases the expression of genes.

RNase RVase

(d) As in the fourth image, RNA is present in stem loop forms that hides the RBS (ribosome Binding site) and inhibits the binding of Ribosomes and hence blockade of translation occurs but when sRNA goes and binds to this stem loop structure of RNA that resolves the structure of RNA and hence increases the gene expression.
