RDFS helps in offering the taxonomic relations, the object relations as well as the datatype properties whereas OWL has a better vocabulary and is considered more expensive.
With respect to the OWL it is more likely to specify the cardinalities of the object relations as well as the properties of the data types which are considered as the attributes.
The ontology gives the facilities which help in defining the objects as well semantic relationship whereas the RDFS are meant for defining the data structures as well as their properties.
RDF gives allowance to link resources example: directed graph but classifying the object is not possible.
OWL gives more restrictions on knowledge representation.
