Mohandas Gandhi (mahatma Gandhi) used satyagraha effectively to fuel the independence movement in India. Satyagraha march also known as dandi march. This March played a significant role in developing independence movement in India.
The term satyagraha was instituted and created by Mahatma Gandhi. He conveyed satyagraha in the Indian freedom development. England's Salt Acts restricted Indians from gathering or selling salt, a staple in the Indian eating regimen. Residents were compelled to purchase the imperative mineral from the British, who, notwithstanding practicing a restraining infrastructure over the assembling and clearance of salt, additionally applied a substantial salt duty.
