Answer #1

There are different choices for managers / employers to provide insurance for their employees and one of them comes under managed competition. Under this method, employees are allowed to choose from many insurance plans such as HMOs, PPOs, and CDHPs. Here employer will contribute a fixed sum of money while employee will either contribute the entire plan cost when plan cost is greater than employer contribution or save the surplus under HSA. This choice is not provided in any other insurance plans including Single-Payer National Health Insurance Market-Based Alternatives or Mandated Insurance Coverage

Select option B Managed Competition
