Universal grammar is the theoretical or hypothetical system of classes, activities, and standards shared by every single human language and viewed as inborn. Since the 1980s, the term has frequently been promoted. The term is otherwise called Universal Grammar Theory. Theory of universal grammar relates to goals and purpose of modern linguistics.

Universal grammar (UG) is an linguistic hypothesis, proposed by Noam Chomsky , that contends that the capacity to learn language is intrinsic, particularly human and unmistakable from every other part of human comprehension.

All inclusive sentence structure, hypothesis suggesting that people have intrinsic resources identified with the procurement of language. The definitionof all inclusive syntax has developed impressively since first it was proposed and, besides, since the 1940s, when it turned into a particular object of present day etymological research.

The Universal Grammar (UG) theory—the possibility that human dialects, as externally various as they seem to be, share some central likenesses, and that these are inferable from inborn standards extraordinary to language.
