Answer #1

According to International Energy outlook 2017, the total energy consumption is 575 quads.

The developed countries consume approx 75% of this energy.

Assuming, world population as 7.3 billion as mentioned in the question, the total energy consumption is 575 quads.

US consume 75% i.e. 431 quad of energy.

As mentioned in question, 7.3 billion people are consuming this energy , so it is 575 quads.

If 323 billion people(mentioned in question ) consume (5.75 *323)/ 7.3 quads of energy.

B) In 2014, US green house emission totalled to 6870 million metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalents which is an increase by 7 % since 1990.
