Answer #1

Q.2 a) 'Y' is RNA Polymerse II and 'X' is RNA Polymerse I ( alpha amanitiin inactivate RNA pol II and III RANS Plo II Is Very sensitive

b) NA Polymerse I is a Polymerase which only transcibes Ribosomal RNA therefore X is definately NA Polymerse I which is found in nucleolus

C) RNA Polymerse II

d) no we cant use X or Y Polymerase (cDNA is made from mRNA by reverse transcriptase)

Q.3 a) 52 forms of RNA Polymerse II exist in cells resulting from Rbp1 modification

b) Form of Rbp1 wich is having Ser7 residu ( Ser7 residu get phosporylated in transcription elongation)

Q4) TRansription will nver take place as it dont have TATA box ; TATA box helps in recruitment of RNA polymerase

Q.5 Prokaryotic transcription is not as complex as eukaryotic transcription; Prokaryotic RNA polymarase have sigma factor which initiate the transcription in eukarotic polymerase require transcription factors

Q.6 A)TFIIA,TFIIB,TFIID,TFIIE,TFIIF,TFIIH

B) TATA box binding protein(TBN) and TFIID will bind to the TATA box

TBB and TFIID  helps to recruit TFIIA,TFIIB will bind to the promoter

TFIIB recruit RNA pol 2 and TFIIF to the promoter

Then TFIIE and TFIIH

all these together will form preinitiation complex
