Augmented Reality --- comes from the word augment that means to add / enhance something and make it view more effectively and better user experience .

Using augmented reality we enhance graphics ,sound , physical touch in more improved manner to give user a different view and nice exposure.

For an interactive experience we enhance real world objects residing in real world environment are enhanced by using computer perception over that object.

AR fulfills and establish a combination between real and virtual world.by putting virtual information over real time data and user experiences a new and improved world .

Examples of AR

1.Medical Training --- From operating MRI equipment to performing complex surgeries, we can Train Robots using AR that can do human work with equal amount of accuracy .

2. Retails --- Retailers use AR to enhance their product by providing the customization using the app that which colors and features user want in this product to make it unique and different .

3. Repair and Maintenance----- A car motor company  and perform car motor or an MRI machine, repair and maintenance staff are beginning to use AR headsets and glasses while they perform their jobs

4. Tourism Industry -------Tourism use AR glasses to give tourist a view of the place before their actual visit to give them a idea about it.

and many more are using AR currently to give user a new comfortable and nice virtual environment.

As AR is such a trending technology you can develop various games and apps using AR

Besr game on AR developed so far is

1. Pokemon Go

The game which allows users to catch virtual Pokémon that are hidden throughout the map of the real world. It uses map in the game and creating a virtual; environment in front of user to catch that pokemon which exists virtually but nothing is real. User go on roads in search of pokemon and catch hundreds of them .

This was one of the project on AR which develops a game in which a real map is enhanced virtually to a game which make user feel different and totally into that virtual environment . That is power of AR in real life .

2 .Weather Channel Studio Effects

Many times on TV while news anchors are giving news over some topic you see them actually in the same world. lIke for example if any news in about moon then while they deliver news that show a ,moon surface and explain the facts by actually making a user feel the same way .

or

weathermen have been standing in front of green screens for years that appear as maps to viewers to deliver their weather forecasts.

This helps them to increase television views of their channel. So you can also simply implement something similar as your project using AR
