Answer #1

Answer to Question 1.

Cash Flow from Assets = Operating Cash Flow – Net Capital Spending – Change in NWC
Cash Flow from Assets = $117,000 - $22,000 - $21,000
Cash Flow from Assets = $74,000

Cash flow to Stockholders = Dividend Paid – Net New Equity Issued
Cash flow to Stockholders = $53,000 - $29,000
Cash flow to Stockholders = $24,000

Cash Flow from Assets = Cash flow to Creditors + Cash flow to Stockholders
$74,000 = Cash flow to Creditors + $24,000
Cash flow to Creditors = $50,000

Cash flow to Creditors = Interest Paid – Net New Borrowings
$50,000 = $60,000 - Net New Borrowings
Net New Borrowings = $10,000
