Here ,

1) the difference between the lower case and upper case symbols is that

the lower case symbols represent (v,i) for signals as a function of time.

while , for the upper case , (V , I) represent for DC and rms values

2)

as frequency , f = 60 hz

angular frequency = 2pi * f

angular frequency = 2pi * 60

angular frequency = 377 rad/s

the angular frequency of the source emf is 377 rad/s
