Ground speed = vector addition of the speeds

= sqrt(120^2+40^2+2*120*40* cos 60 degree )

= 144.22 mph

120 sin theta = 40 sin 60 degree

sin theta = 0.866/3

theta = arcsin (0.866/3)

= 16.8 degree with groundpath

Or 76.8 degree with east
