What labels that you dislike have been applied to you or to groups to which you belong? Explain how the labels affect you.
Answer
In order to answer this question, there are factual labels which not just me but many people have to go through because of their ethnicity, gender, physical experience, etc. Ther are many people who label me as chinky, chini because of my ethnicity. They are surprised by my physical appearance and cannot resist making a comment or label my eyes as chink eyes and are always curious to as me if I am able to see properly or not because I have such eyes. It would be incorrect to say that these labes do not affect me at all, but definitely not much. But I have seen people who literally lose their morale and confidence to carry themselves because of these labels. And it is natural to be affected by negativity. It is natural to feel bad that some people around you are so insensitive. But for me, it's always ironical to meet such people who think I have trouble watching properly because of my small eyes.
