You have undoubtedly been in many student project groups, teams, or perhaps project groups at work.

Write a brief description of a memorable group you have been a member of and describe your favourite phase in the group development process.

What specific behaviours and incidents identify the phase in question

I have been into several project groups at work. In one such instance, I was given the responsibility of choosing team members that will work on a small project. The project is basically conducting an online survey, and it required team members to collaboratively work so that the survey can be completed within a week. The group members that I have selected personally are very cooperative but members did not have many acquaintances with each other before. Therefore, they were almost unknown to each other. Needless, to say this team also went through the team forming stages and I was able to lead the team. The best part is the morning stage because during this stage team members were taking responsibility for their work, helping each other to move towards the goal. This is the best time where the entire team felt like a family.

The specific behaviors and incidents that identify this stage is the team members began appreciating each other work, the team members worked as a cohesive unit.
