Activation of the Renin-Angiotensin System in response to a decrease in blood pressure stimulates the release of vasopressin from the posterior pituitary which produces an increase in water reabsorption but not an increase in plasma volume.---------------> TRUE

This is because aldosterone causes water reabsorption by sodium retention. The increased concentration of sodium in the interstitial fluid drags water towards the interstitial fluid (plasma and interstitial fluid comprise the extra cellular fluid volume). So, the increased blood pressure of vasopressin is due to increased interstitial fluid.
