Answer #1

The systemic Circulation:

  • Blood move into the heart via inferior and superior vena cava, baring deoxygenated blood from the body into the right atrium.
  • As the atrium contracts, blood runs from the right atrium to the right ventricle via the open tricuspid valve.
  • The tricuspid valve shuts after the ventricle gets full. The valve prevents blood from flowing back into the right atrium as the ventricle contracts.
  • Now blood abscond the heart through the pulmonic valve as the ventricle contracts. The blood reaches into the pulmonary artery and to the lungs, where it oxygenates. The oxygenated blood after that returns to the heart via the pulmonary veins.
  • The pulmonary vein is unfilled oxygenated blood from the lungs into the left atrium.
  • The blood flows from the left atrium into the left ventricle as the atrium contracts, via the open mitral valve.
  • The mitral valve closes when the ventricle gets full. The valve stops blood from flowing back into the atrium when the ventricle contracts.
  • Finally, blood leaves the heart via the aortic valve as the ventricle contracts. It reaches into the aorta and to the body.
