Answer #1

The food is synthesized in the green photosynthetic leaves of the plants by carbon fixation. This food, mainly glucose and sucrose are assimilated by the plant for various biological functions. However, excess of food is often stored in the roots by translocation. This food material follows a particular path while getting translocated as follow:

Chloroplat - cytoplasmic vesicle - dissolved in the extracellular medium (mainly water) - phloem bed of the plant vascular system - downwards movement of the sucrose - old roots (non-apical part)- root endodermal lamella- cortex-sieve tubes-matrix

As the food material reaches the roots, it get stored here and is utilized as and when required.

In this question, you will test, using a backtracking algorithm, if a mouse can escape from a rectangular maze. To ensure consistency of design, start your solution with maze_start.c. The backtracking algorithm helps the mouse by systematically trying all the routes through the maze until it either finds the escape hatch or exhausts all possible routes (and concludes that the mouse is trapped in the maze). If the backtracking algorithm finds a dead end, it retraces its path until it...
