2) No, the two events are not mutually exclusive because a girl preschooler can prefer the blue colour to the pink colour. So option c is the correct answer.

3) Total numbe of preschoolers = 70

Total number of preschoolers who are girls and prefer blue colour = 15

So, the probability that a randomly picked preschooler is a girl that prefers blue colour = 15/70

= 0.21.
