Answer #1

our cardiovascular system has a tendency to fulfill the increased blood flow required during excercise..

factors that contribute to the elevated blood flow to the muscles are

1 local factors-lactic acid,co2,adenosine,ADP compounds, histamine,H+ IONS ,bradykinin and k+ions accumulates in the muscles involved during excercise.all these factors inturn has a tendency to regulate the local blood flow to the site by decreasing the arterial resistance and hence leads to increased blood flow.

2 systemic factors-by sympathetic mechanism, arterioles in the muscles dilates resulting in increased blood flow upto tenfolds.alpha and beta receptors in other organs leads to arteriolar constriction to the organs so that the blood flow can be directed to the skeletal muscles .

thank you
