Answer #1

Neurons are the nerve cells which makes up the neural network. Any object, event or situation needs our attention for it to be first observed and then remembered. On being exposed to a visual field, the neurons fire and stimulate the visual spatial cortex to rememeber the image. The information is then transferred from one neuron to the other at the synapse. This causes long term potentiation at the synapse which results in the storage of information in the long term memory. There are evidence which suggest that a part of hippocampus is responsible for the storage of information.
