Method to identify the failure of system:

Process Failure Mode effect Analysis- FMEA is a method to identify the failure of engineering system. Various process can be analysed though PFMEA (Process- Failure Mode effect analysis). It need to analyse every single process and define the failure. It means, in what way the process can be fail. Every single failure need to analyse before implement any new process for mass production.

Failures means process can be fail during assembly of product or failure can be occur in market. So every suspect of failure should be analyse. All the failure define in terms of Severity, Occurance & Detectibility terms.

What is the primary goal of this method of analysis?

It need to detect the failure within the production line so that prior precaution can ne taken to prevent the failure. So we analyse all the aspect of failure which impact during the production. Another reason for PFMEA to detect the failure while customer use the product. Prior analyse of the failure can prevent the failure at customer end.
