\frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{u} = \frac{2}{R}

v= image distance

u = object distance = -12 cm

R = -31.9 cm (since, it is a concave mirror)

Calculating using the above equation, v = 48.455 cm on the right side of the mirror

m = -\frac{v}{u}

m = -\frac{48.455}{-12}

m=4.038
