Answer #1

Methmouth: Methamiphetamine is a psychostimulant and severe usage of this drug causes activation of alphaarergic receptors followed by vasoconstriction at salivary glands result in low salivation that causes dry mouth. This salivation has a lot of impact on carbohydrate digestion as it has low amylase to digest the sugar moieties thereby salivary absence further leading to increased acidity in the mouth associate with dental caries and enamel damage.

Digestion of carbohydrates is completely reduced in the oral cavity with rise acidity and thereby pyloric and fucndic splicnters cannot move the food bolus into the gastic area for further diagestion. This improper digestion is leading to constipation and reduced glucose levels in the body followed by hypoglycemia.
