Answer #1

In humans, prenatal hormones also have long term behavioural effects. We can easily choose the example of testosterone. Testosterone is responsible for developing behaviour of maleness such as childhood play behaviour, preference of sex-typed toy, core gender identity etc. For example, the effects hormones such as testosterone can change the preferences for toys. The male child can prefer the toy which have masculine features.

The factor is the same effect causing hormones. For example, if we want to study the effect of testosterone, the androgen from adrenal cortex can mislead the experiment as both the hormones have same type of effects. So, these factors can complicate such studies.
