ATP becomes bound the Myosin motor moves towards the plus end (energized) and binds weakly to actin ATP hydrolyzes to ADP+pi power stroke Myosin binds tightly to actin ,moves to a rigor position & pulls actin.

At last ADP and phosphate released and Myosin release from actin.

B In rigor mortis myosin binds tightly to actin,in the absence of ATP myosin can not dissociate from actin and the muscle becomes stiff.ATP is required for separation of actin myosin cross bridge during relaxation of muscle .when oxygen is not present anerobic glycolysis happens ,the ATP concentration diminish and thus occur the stiffening of the body.
