replication starts at the origin of replication and replication fork is bidirectional, 24000 bases are replicated in 5 minutes so the bidirectional replication fork replicates 48000 bases in 5 minutes so

number of origin of replications= total number of bases/ bases replicated in 5 minutes

= (1.9\times10^9)/48000

= 39583.33

so the answer is 39583
