Answer #1

NAT( Network address translation) : It is a process where local ip address is translated into global ip address or vice versa .This thing generally uses on router

working of NAT:
=>generally the border router is configured with the NAT ,it will configured on the interface
which connected to local (inside) network and global (outside) network.
=>so when the packet traverse outside the local network the nat will convert the private address of that interface to global(public) ip address in the same way when the packet the enters the local network the global(public ) ip address is converted to local(private) ip address

diagram:

PRIVATE 126.12/24 FO/o 192-16/24 19 2-163.), ½ P) ppol i INSIDE LOCAL 13.1 PUBLIC PEIVATC OUTSIPC LOCAL

inside local address: the ip address that is assigned to a host on the local network ,this ip address was not provided by the service provider, these are alos known as private address
insde global address:this ip address which represents one or more local ip addressees to the outside world ,this ip address can be seen by outside world

outside local address: this is the actual ip address of the destination host in the network after transalation

outside global address:this is the ip address where the outside can be seen as outside network
