OA =100mm, AB = 400 mm, CB = 240 mm and BD = 300 mm.   
Construct a velocity and acceleration diagram
1.1 From the diagrams find the: 1.1.1 linear velocity of the plunger D; (7) 1.1.2 linear acceleration of the plunger D; (13) 1.1.3 angular velocity of link AB, and; (2) 1.1.4 the angular acceleration of link BD. (2) 1.2 At the given instant the torque at crank OA is 10 kNm. Assume that no energy is lost in friction, determine the force on plunger D. (2)
