System level innovations can be defined as a change in the company's organisational culture, policies as well as individual procedures. Implementing and system change would be very tough and necessary to maintain competitiveness as well as to improve the overall streamline structure and to eliminate the barriers.

Some challenges which are usually faced when moving to a system levels innovations are as follows

Design and implementation

Designing a system level solution is very tough and implementation is even tougher. This is specific problem is very big as usually the organisations are very reflective to the change is being done in terms of the innovations inside the organisations. Every type of audience inside your organisation needs a different approach to successfully implement the specific change. This individual approach to everybody definitely makes it more hard to implement a change in the organisation and to provide the system level innovations.

Investment determination

Determining the best available investment options in implementing change is also a very tough task for innovating a change inside an organisation at a system level. Most of the time investment are in uncertainty of being wasted. This definitely reduces the overall reliability of the system level innovations , which could be very harmful for the overall profit generated by the organisation and could also affect the organisational structure.

All in all we can see that implementing a change inside an organisation at a system level is a very hard process which has many challenging factors. Despite being hard to implement, changes at the system level innovation are essential for organisations to stay competitive and to improve their overall position.
