Before buying any product online the customers have certain expectations with them regarding the product. When the product meets those expectations then the customers feel satisfied. So in online purchase the customers have same expectations but they don't have touch and feel experience. Because of that the expectation gets increased. Further other Expectations like material handling by courier company, genuine and quality product etc are another major factors. Because of that the expectation gets more increased in online purchase. So satisfaction is a critical factor with regard to online purchase. Though satisfaction is the critical factor for all the purchase whether it is online or offline but when it comes to online it is more critical because there is no touch and feel experience. Expectation increases not from the product only but it from courier partner, quality of vendor/supplier etc.
