Talking globally about the competition that Uber faces, there is no much competition. There are no big players such as Uber globally. But, talking about specific local competions, Uber has been facing it and has also felt the steam out of it. For example - Ola cabs in India or Didi in China has been giving Uber a tough competition. There are several similar competitions in other countries as well.
But, Should Uber take this seriously? Thinking about how big and global the operations of Uber are such competitors don't worry them much. Also, uber has been expanding in different domains such as Uber Eats, or Ride and Drive, etc. Thus, Uber has been dominating in global level.
