Answer #1

When the plant is heterozygous for green and yellow peas, the probability for both colors is 1/2.

a. All green = 1/2×1/2×1/2×1/2×1/2×1/2×1/2 = 1/128

b. All peas of same color = p(all green) + p(all yellow)

= 1/128 + 1/128 = 1/64

c. Each possible color order has p = 1/128

p ( g,g,g,g,g,y,y) = 7/128

d. 7/128
