Answer #1

Let us first see what does a project really mean, as per PMBOK "a project is an attempt which has its own initiation and end criteria and using it some unique, new, different product or result or services can be expected.

In this scenario, we can clearly see some activities are not a project and some are -

a) Eating meal - if we compare this activity with the definition mentioned above we can find that this is not a project, the reason being we cannot get any tangible outcome once this process is completed.

b) Planning a wedding - which is definitely a project as it has its own start date and end date with several activities to perform and the outcome is a successful marriage.

c) Building a house - is again a kind of project where multiple teams work together to achieve a well build house. The activity lasts for till few months or a year but has a specific start date and end date.

d) Cleaning your room - again YES, this is a project where there can be installation, environment set up work, and many others. A team performs the task to bring the suggested changes in a given time. It starts at some point in time and ends as-well and then the outcome is a new, improved, and desired interior.
